Crew Review of "V's Barbershop" in Fishers!

***Crew Review***

V's Barbershop arrived in the Indy area in east Fishers off Olio road in the summer of 2011.  We sent our Pops in to test the waters and later took the Crew back for their own trimmings, too!  This old-fashioned barbershop offers many great services like haircuts, straight razor shaves, shoe shines, and more!

Owned and operated by people with children, it has a strong kid focus as well!  It's a great place for men of all ages to go in to get pampered, but in a very kid-friendly place!

We love their line...."Bringing Handsome Back!"

One of their "old-fashioned" services is a shoe shine!  Walk-in or drop off is available.
Great for women's boots, too!

It's a new-old look!  Step into yesteryear and choose from their menu of services.
Our boys loved the haircuts and our big boy (Daddy) enjoys the straight razor shave, hot towel on the face, and a clean cut to go with it!
What a great Father's Day or Birthday gift!
(PS....There's a fabulous nail salon next door!
Send him in the Barbershop while you get your nails done!  See, we're all happy!)

Train tables, shuffle board, and TVs keep all ages entertained!

Basketball in a Barbershop?  Only at V's!
They also serve their clients an array of beverages while they visit this joint!

Good find!  The boys are styling and they love this stop every time!

Crew Review of "Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park"

***Crew Review***

We had a wowser birthday party at Skyzone Indoor Trampoline Park for our six-year-old son.
Jumping, pizzas, cake, friends, and fun......he was on cloud nine!

Who can jump and how much?
Their policy is "if you can walk, you can jump!"
30 minutes: $8
60 minutes: $12
90 minutes: $16
120 minutes: $20
(These prices were as of December 2011.  Pricing is subject to change.  Verify before you go!)

Arrive early as the check-in process takes a little bit of time.  It was made easier with waiver forms filled out ahead of time for each jumper (if you're in a large group).  We put on our trampoline shoes and then got a run down of the rules with a focus on safety.

The facility opened in early December 2011 and is located in Fishers near 121st and Cumberland Road.  The Sky staff are prepared to help you have fun safely.  Our visit was for a party, but you can come with any size group in all age ranges at their open jump anytime!  Check their schedule for group fitness classes, too!  Spectators can watch easily from the platforms or sit at the tables near the snack bar.

No matter the reason for your visit, it's a great way to get some exercise, escape from the cold or heat outdoors, and have fun in a new, yet old-fashioned kind of way!

Listen carefully!  The Sky staff will tell you how it works!  Have fun, fly safe!
We love that there were many Sky staff on deck to help with all jumpers.

Turn on the tunes and let 'em loose!  Look at them go....press play!

Jumpers of all ages can fly!  These Moms (me on the right!) pulling off some air jacks!

Hoops anyone?  Catch some air and slam dunk!  The foam pit is nearby, too!

The party rooms are set up for good times!  Our hostess did a great job of keeping our group entertained (and fed!)

Depending on your party package, pizza and cake make the kids smile!

The celebrated person gets a t-shirt and 2 Free 1-Hour Jump passes!
Love that....we can't wait to come back!

It's going to be hard to top this stop!  Our crew and guests had a fabulous time and we hear many of them are planning their next trips back!  Sky Zone rocks!

Crew Review of "Piney Acres Farm"

***Crew Review***

We took the family out to hunt for our first U-Cut Christmas Tree!  We visited Piney Acres Farm in Fortville and loved every minute of it!  They were sure to tell us they do pumpkins and hayrides and so much more in the fall in addition to the trees.  We loved their gift shop and snack bar, too.  We love small businesses and hope to make more stops like this to support local venues in the Indy area!

Santa was here on our visit!  This was the zone to enter on and off the field.

No telling the weather or the mud factor in the fields.....boots on!

Choose Precut or U-Cut!

Load up the wagon to trip out to the fields to hunt for your tree!

Perfect tree in sight!  This one's ours!

Timber!  Cut it down, haul it back to the wagon and wrap it up!
It's top-o'-the-van bound!

Adorable handmade gifts and ornaments fill the indoor barn!
All are made by long-time residents in the area.

We each got a ticket for a popcorn and hot chocolate to warm us up after being out in the field.
Many other treats are available for purchase, too!

If you have the chance to cut your own tree, this is a great way to start a wonderful family tradition....especially at this Farm!
