Crew Review of "Rita's Backyard Tea Room"

***Crew Review***

We've been going to Rita's Backyard Tea Room for a few years now.  Located in Fishers on 116th Street, just west of Brookschool Road, you'll see the farm's original century-old barn and house from the road.  Rita turned the barn into a tea room and gift shop to grace her well-rounded garden center, literally in her backyard!

The Tea Room is great for special luncheons, parties, showers, or a stop off for lunch and a cup of tea.  Each table has its own design, centerpiece, and fancy chandelier.  You can dine indoors, in her party room, or on the small patio near the garden center.  There's not a bad seat in the house....or rather, the barn!

Tables just right for any party size.....large or small!

Rita's loves little ones....and all things Tea!
Our little lady had her tea (a.k.a lemonade!) in a just-right size tea cup and saucer.
Several tea options are available either hot or iced.
We can't wait to go back to try a new flavor!

Kids meals are available and come with a sandwich, colorful goldfish, and mixed fruit jello salad!

Adult meals can be ordered ala carte or with her "Pick Two" option.
Choose a salad, sandwich, or soup for your meal.  This chicken salad sandwich on
a buttery croissant went very well with the dark greens and house dressing!

Where there's a tea room, there's dessert!
This picture doesn't do these delish finds justice.....
so you'll just have to stop in and try them out for yourselves!

When you're finished dining,
browse around the gift shop for a special present or souvenir of your trip.

Make sure to also visit "The Backyard" for great landscaping finds for your garden!

We thank Rita and her team for operating such a wonderful place for us to go and make memories.  Small businesses make the world go round!
