"One Day Without Shoes"
A nationwide event to raise awareness of the many children in the world who live without shoes
In some countries, children must walk for miles for food and medical help.  Cuts and sores on the feet can lead to serious infection.  Some kids are denied access to school if they don't have shoes.
In 2010, over 1600 events were held and 250,000 people across the USA went barefoot to raise awareness to this global issue
Will you do it?  It's uncomfortable and what will people think?  It's cold out.....But, can you make it happen to help make a difference in the life of child, somewhere?.
...It's. just. one. day....
